It has always been my passion and life's work to capture and share stories--from weddings to birthday parties to documentary work, family shoots to concert photography, I am dedicated to capturing your most precious memories that you and your family can cherish for lifetimes to come.
I started out with just a Nikon Cool Pix camera that I carried in my purse everywhere I went. After a few years of just shooting for fun I applied to be a freelance photographer at a local newspaper in Iowa. I was hired as a full time photographer. Within six months I had published my first photo project titled- My Baby, Not My Child. This project followed my personal journey as a pregnant, single, college student faced with the decision to place her child for adoption. Within hours of it airing it was featured on Buzzfeed and went world wide.
After moving to Colorado in 2014 I continued my photography business. Feeling bored without a photography project to work on I decided to travel the country in my car filming the documentary series The Movement Project. Each episode featured people around America who were doing generous things for other humans, for the environment and for animals. In a time of heightened fear in this country the goal of the project was to show the good in the people around us. I ended up extending my time on the road and creating several other documentary series. Most notably- Up to Us: The Caravan of Change documentary series which followed a caravan of peaceful warriors from Los Angeles, CA to Philadelphia, PA. I had the pleasure to work beside many incredible humans- such as Shailene Woodley- doing what they could to spread love in a time where hate was spreading like wildfire.
Since then I have settled in at my home base in Fort Collins, Colorado. I love all of the opportunities I get to work with models, families, couples, weddings and more! I love the work I do and meeting new people every single day. I can't wait to work with you!
